The Samlex America SEC-1215UL is a 12v 15-Amp 3-bank fully automatic battery charger. The charger features advanced switch-mode technology, providing high-efficiency charging in a lightweight and quiet design.
The SEC-1215UL is compatible with Flooded, AGM, and Gel Cell lead acid batteries. The charger can be configured as a 3-stage charger ideal for charging batteries while not in use. It also features a 2-stage charging profile, which is ideal when being used as a power supply or DC UPS with a battery.
The Samlex SEC-1215UL features temperature-controlled fan cooling and has a heat sink built into the case to help dissipate the heat. It features several protections, including Short circuit, overload, reverse battery connection, and over-temperature.

i would not buy from anyone else
I wish I knew this company years ago. purchased a charger 3 years ago and it died after 9 months had a replacement shipped to me and that one died after 7 months. I never went back.
Battery Stuff staff was evry helpful in helping me chose the right charger for my application. they even credited me the first one i purchased by mistake without hesitation. the charger I have now works great and I am very happy with mny purchase.

Super Dependable, Great Design
We run all of our computer servers on DC power supplies designed for computers in police cars. 7 Samlex units (6 15 amp and 1 30 amp units) Keep Twenty 22 amp Gel Cell batteries charged in 7 groups and these 7 circuits supply 18 servers and Six 12 VDC External Disk Arrays. Regular UPS units KILL COMPUTERS (the Relay Change-over is a NASTY JOLT to your systems) and converting AC to DC only to have to go back to AC then back to DC in the computer power supply is nothing less than STUPID (and it wastes a lot of energy).
I can't say enough good things about these units. "SAMLEX IS THE BOMB!" ("bomb" used to mean bad, but my kids tell me it now means GREAT! - I can still learn. Yes, an Old Dog - with some new tricks...). SUPER DEPENDABLE! Out of 7 units running 24/7/365 for 7 years, one failed, but it was not the unit's fault. I chalk it up to "education" of a new employee.
