Overview
The Problem ~ Internal Resistance & Sulfation Lead acid batteries have changed very little in 70 years. From the initial application of the electrolyte, sulfation begins coating the lead plates causing internal resistance. Aging batteries lose overall performance and require increased maintenance (more water) and charging time. Sulfation will eventually choke out any electrical activity. Stored and inactive batteries accelerate the problem of sulfation, leading to REDUCED BATTERY LIFE.
#BE12oz
The Solution ~ Reduces Resistance & Sulfation A small amount of Battery Equaliser to each cell will mix with the existing electrolyte solution. The improved battery chemistry will dissolve existing sulfation and prevent new deposits from forming for years to come. Batteries will charge faster, hold a charge longer, reduce terminal corrosion and reduce gassing (water consumption). Follow normal battery maintenance and DOUBLE BATTERY LIFE WITH ONLY ONE TREATMENT
To use in: Cars, Trucks, Boats, RVs, and Forklifts.
*Available within the Lower 48 United States and Canada only.

A Little Goes a Long Way
The cost of maintenance is much cheaper in the long run than the cost of replacement.
Just 1 oz per cell, huh? That's not much but I hope it gets the job done. My car battery definitely needs something to remove the sulfation off the plates. This is a much better alternative than buying a new battery when it's too late.
Cons:
I think I put more liquid than was suggested into each cell. Will that do any harm to the battery?
**Note from BatteryStuff**
Adding a little more than suggested on the bottle is okay. But using a whole bottle in each cell is overkill. The problem with using too much BE is that there will be less H2O for the cell to operate efficiently.

Battery Equalizer
this stuff is going in all my wet cells!
bought 1 bottle for my boat with 2 large deep cycle storage batteries I have been having doubts about. These are the same age/brand/model. Being skeptical of snake-oil, I added half bottle to one battery which seemed to be the weaker as far as charge holding. Charged, electrically desulfated, charged then went on vacation. Motor died in major shipping lane in fog. Battery with additive CLEARLY superior, virtually like new compared to second. (took ~48 hours to "sail" home with no charging source, batteries operated independantly.)
Cons:
not already in battery from factory

Seems to work
Checked my golf cart batteries and one had a bad cell in one battery. I was told that the battery was toast and to get a new one. A bit of research got me to BatteryStuff where I read about Battery Equalizer. For the price I figured why not try. Well it works. After following the instructions (charge/discharge a couple of times after adding) the battery with the bad cell is all good again. The bad cell is up in the good range again.
Easy to use. Easy to measure how much you need (on the bottle).
Cons:
Have to touch the battery…...had to put something down;)

worth the price
works as advertised. stuff like this was used all the time by my grandpa. the science is sound. Brought a battery with minimal reserve capacity back to life. Not gonna say "like new" but good enough to get likely another year out of it.
Cons:
the red cap sucks. does not stay on.

It actually works.
Amazing that I've never come across the 90 year old technology before but I'm sold now.
After debating with my Engineering friend about spending money on what truly does read like a scam, I decided, on the credibility of BatteryStuff, to order a bottle of 'Battery Equalizer". It seemed better than scrapping a $250 battery. After using it for a little under 4 months and doing the recommended charge cycling, I've found the battery to be 90% rejuvenated and reliable again. Great stuff! I'll put it into ALL my other batteries that aren't sealed. Thanks!
Cons:
No one has a sound explanation of the risks, if any, or why manufacturers don't sell this chemistry themselves. Odd.

Battery Equiliser
Easy to use and add to your battery.
Cons:
It didn't seem to work. Right after I added this to my battery, it went dead. It had been fine and I never had a problem with the battery. I just thought since it was getting older I would add this product. The battery was dead in two days. I followed the directions on the bottle. After it went dead I charged it, but it would not hold a charge. So I'm not sure if this product helps or hurts an older battery.

Battery Equalizer
I purchased the Battery Equalizer for my bass boat's batteries. They were 3 years old and wouldn't charge to full capacity. After adding the Battery Equalizer to my batteries, they charged to 100%, and charge much faster than before....
Cons:
I would like to see an improved way to add the Equalizer to my battery. Its hard to add and not spill some of the fluid.

This stuff is awesome.
I bought this stuff about 10 years ago! Put it in my 2007 Mustang I bought new in 2006. Just had the battery checked at my local Interstate battery dealer. Still has 560 CCA!! Which is what it is supposed to have when NEW! This battery is almost 11 years old! I told the Interstate Battery dude what I did and he said he has never heard of such a thing! Yeah right? At the same time I added it to my Mustang I put it in my Isuzu PU. That battery at the time was about 4 years old. It is now almost 14 years old and is still firing up my truck!! I even have the receipt from Walmart in the glove box when I purchased the battery in 2003! This stuff is worth every penny many times over!
Cons:
I didn't place any bets my Mustang battery would still be going strong after 10+ years!

Update to original review.
My original review was dated April 6, 2017. My original 2007 Mustang battery is now 13.5 years old (manufactured in spring 2006) and is still firing up the V-8 like it was new! I did have it checked recently and it is now down to 350 CCA. So probably soon I will have to buy a new one. But it is 13.5 years old and cranks the V-8 over just fine and I cannot tell it is any weaker. This stuff is amazing, and an absolute bargain.
