I am a maintenance man at a hotel. We go through a lot of batteries with hundreds of television remotes. When I first started we used a different brand of "pro" batteries and they didn't last as long as these. It saves us time and money. I have a million things more important to do than change batteries. I use them in my work flashlight and once a guest lost a ring and I brought my metal detector in, I put these batteries in the detector and they lasted forever and I have little fear of them corroding and ruining things like cheaper batteries.

They LAST FOREVER in remotes, great in flashlights and perfect for metal detectors.
