I just put it in an atv I've been working on and it's held up extremely well. have the atv running now and so far no issues with the battery at all. ran it down a couple of times while working on it and it took a charge with no problems at all

Only been running this battery for 2 months - not long enough in my opinion for a thorough review. As a mentioned previously, this style battery takes care of all the problems we grew accustomed to with vintage batteries. With the addition of an electronic voltage regulator, the charging system is now one less thing I need to be concerned with. Output at idle is negative - meaning, the battery must carry 100% of the load while stopped. This normally consists of the headlight, brake light, 2 turn signals flashing, plus, still have enough power to produce spark in the battery-powered points ignition system. Since I fried my last SLA by overcharging, this one has been doing it's job. Time will tell of it's longevity, but I've had great luck with AGM's in the past.

Extra capacity for my '74 Yamaha RD350, no acid to spill or leak and burn paint off, tolerant of lack of maintenance (sitting extended periods without a charge), no adding water, and the price was right! Can't beat that.

None so far, other than some shimming to make this fit snug, and wiring different connectors on from the SLA battery I had prior. All nitpicks here ... very simple to fix.

Good fitment for the OEM yuasa in my KTM 450exc

Not as good as my previous scorpion for my KTM 2 stroke. That one is going strong for over a year, no issues. I use battery tenders on on my bikes including this one. This one on battery tender as well. Didn't have enough juice to crank over In the middle of some trail work, left me kicking to get out of the woods.

I am looking for a battery for another motorcycle now, and I am torn between the Scorpion and the extra cost of the Scorpion Stinger. I will talk to Battery Stuff on Monday to find out more about the Lithium Ion Stinger.

Very strong and durable battery. I am going on 3 years of service with this unit in my BMW R1150R, and it is showing no signs of getting weak. I do keep a Battery Tender charger on it when I am not using the motorcycle.

The terminals are slightly different than the OEM, so we needed to make a rubber cover for the positive terminal to protect it from touching metal above it.

Bought 2 of these batteries for my boys Yamaha Raptor 250's. They fit perfectly in the factory position and have been excellent replacement batteries so far. We did put them on a battery tender overnight before install, but they had some charge right out of the box so not sure that was necessary. This is not my first Scorpion battery purchase. The first one I bought out performed a battery 3X the cost and outlasted it 3X also. So when time came for a replacement on my '15 Husky, I went again with the Scorpion brand. It has only been a few months now, but no complains. If it lasts only half the time of the first Scorpion, it still will be a bargain. BatteryStuff service and shipping time along with price was outstanding! Great job people!
