Overview
The Samlex America SEC-1215UL is a 12v 15-Amp 3-Bank automatic switch mode battery charger. Switch-mode technology chargers consume less AC input current than a standard charger making the SEC-1215UL highly efficient. The charger can be used worldwide allowing for two AC input voltages: By default, the unit accepts 120 VAC, or the unit can be switched to 230 VAC via an internal jumper change.
The SEC-1215UL features a three-bank design allowing the charger to charge each 12-volt bank simultaneously. The charger is suitable for 12v lead acid batteries, including Flooded, AGM, or Gel cell batteries, and features two charging modes:
3-Stage charging (default) – Features a Bulk, Absorption, and Float stage and is meant to be used for batteries that are not under load while charging.
2-Stage Charging – Features a Bulk and Float stage and is ideal for applications where the charger is used as a power supply supplementing the load while charging the battery pack.

i would not buy from anyone else
I wish I knew this company years ago. purchased a charger 3 years ago and it died after 9 months had a replacement shipped to me and that one died after 7 months. I never went back.
Battery Stuff staff was evry helpful in helping me chose the right charger for my application. they even credited me the first one i purchased by mistake without hesitation. the charger I have now works great and I am very happy with mny purchase.

Super Dependable, Great Design
We run all of our computer servers on DC power supplies designed for computers in police cars. 7 Samlex units (6 15 amp and 1 30 amp units) Keep Twenty 22 amp Gel Cell batteries charged in 7 groups and these 7 circuits supply 18 servers and Six 12 VDC External Disk Arrays. Regular UPS units KILL COMPUTERS (the Relay Change-over is a NASTY JOLT to your systems) and converting AC to DC only to have to go back to AC then back to DC in the computer power supply is nothing less than STUPID (and it wastes a lot of energy).
I can't say enough good things about these units. "SAMLEX IS THE BOMB!" ("bomb" used to mean bad, but my kids tell me it now means GREAT! - I can still learn. Yes, an Old Dog - with some new tricks...). SUPER DEPENDABLE! Out of 7 units running 24/7/365 for 7 years, one failed, but it was not the unit's fault. I chalk it up to "education" of a new employee.
