The Battery Tender High Frequency Charger utilizes state of the art 5-Step Charging (Initialization, Bulk, Absorption, Equalization, & Float Maintenance) The DAC (Deltran Adaptive Charging is optimized to accommodate standard, flooded, and sealed AGM lead acid batteries. This SUPERSMART battery charger is a microprocessor controlled, high frequency switching power converter that has a true DC output at a maximum power level.
This charger should not be used with true Gel Cell batteries, if you are uncertain as to what type of battery you have please call us, as often times other maintenance free type batteries are incorrectly identified as Gel Cell batteries.

48v Battery Tender
Charger rated at 10 amps but only shows an 8 amp charge rate using a "Kill-A-Watt" monitor. Takes about 24 hours and 6 kwh to charge 4-110ah AGM batteries from 38 volts. Have had very good performance from Battery Tender chargers, this makes number 3, all still in use.
