so far
At 48v and a 50 watt rating, the most most amperage I expected to see was about 1 amp... So far the best I've seen is 900ma (9/10 of an amp) and that's close enough... (that rating came from the screen of the device) I haven't measured it (the charging current) with a known good meter (Fluke) in series yet. But it's climbing! It's at 60% and started at 20% charge. The voltage meter isn't completely accurate, but it's within 7/10v(lower) then measured at the batteries. I really like this very "kind and gentle" charge rate. :) The main battery charger had cut off, I let it sit for a few days, then applied this charger. So, I'm sure it's trying to top them off, but with 6 batteries to charge, I'm sure it's going to take a few days. (expected, again, 6 rather large 8v GC batteries) This is a maintainer, and don't try to use it to charge batteries after you've run the batteries down from using the golf cart. This is just perfect for me and my application. Mark me satisfied...
