RealPro RS3 Series battery charger (formerly Recreation Series) is an affordable, reliable and safe battery charger for everyday use. The system is engineered for users who need a charging system on an occasional basis and may not want or need the capabilities of a heavier duty and higher amperage product.
The Waterproof RealPro RS3 Series 18 amp charger is microprocessor controlled, powerful, and fast. If you need a quick and reliable marine battery charger for a 12-volt, 24-volt , or 36-volt battery system, this is it. This Dual Pro Battery Chargers incorporate important features such as being fully waterproof, completely automatic, overcharge protected, temperature compensating, and ignition protected. They also have LED readouts, and are USCG approved.
It is designed for use in many types of applications including bass boats, runabouts, pontoon boats, other watercraft, automobiles, ATVs, golf carts and other similar uses. The system delivers sophisticated capabilities and superior value to customers.
Typical installation:
Each bank outputs 12 volts meant for individual 12v batteries no larger than a group 31 battery (approximately 130 AH). The Dual Pro RS3 can be used for three 12v banks, one 24v battery bank, or one 36v battery bank. Typical installation is for a 36-volt series system using three 12v batteries for a trolling motor. A 24-volt system using two 12v batteries, leaving you an additional bank for a starting 12v battery. Another popular installation is for a 12-volt trolling motor battery and two 12v starting motor batteries.
*Will not work on a single 24- or 36-volt battery as the unit only has individual 12v outputs.
