Overview
The NOCO Genius GEN5X1 is a single bank 12v 5 Amp battery charger and maintainer. The GEN5X1 marine battery charger features an IP68 waterproof rating making it ideal for harsh locations.
This Genius charger is compatible with 12v lead acid batteries included flooded wet cell, enhanced flooded, maintenance free, AGM and Gel cell batteries. This device also features a 12v Lithium Charger Mode suitable for Lithium-Ion LiFePo4 Batteries that include a Battery Management System (BMS).
The GEN5X1 features an automatic 12v Repair Mode that equalizes sulfated, idle, or stratified batteries in efforts to repair lost battery performance. This Repair Mode is automatic but can also be manually selected.
Lastly, the NOCO GEN5X1 lithium boat battery charger features a Force Mode meant to recover extremely discharged batteries below 1v. This mode must be manually selected and will force the charger to output for 5 min in an attempt to recover the battery. After 5 minutes the charger will switch back to the standard charging profile.
