Overview
The ProMariner ProSportHD8 is an 8-amp 2-Bank Waterproof Marine smart charger. The charger features two 12v charging banks that use a Distribute on Demand charging technology. This technology can distribute the 8-amps to a single bank or between banks as needed. The ProSportHD series features a lightweight and waterproof tri-surface heatsink design.
The ProSportHD8 is compatible with group 24 through group 31 Flooded, AGM, and Gel cell batteries with an amp/hr.—range of approximately 70 to 135 AH. The charger has two 12-volt outputs for individual 12v batteries or battery banks that are no larger than 135 AH per bank. The charger can be used to charge two 12v banks or one 24v battery bank using 12v batteries.
The ProSportHD 8 has an enhanced microprocessor that controls charging and features software that provides the charger’s status and battery charge completeness. The charger features 5-stage charging, which analyzes, charges, conditions, and maintains the batteries. The charger will also recondition the battery once a month.
The ProSportHD series chargers are built for harsh environments and have industrial-grade components. The charger is Listed and UL Marine 1236 Certified and meets the new energy efficiency standards set by the DOE and CEC.
