Overview
The OptiMATE 2 Duo TM-571 is a 12v charger and maintainer with two independent 12v 2-amp charging banks. The OptiMATE TM-571 is compatible with 12v AGM, flooded, and gel lead acid batteries between 6 to 96 AH, and 12.8v / 13.2v lithium LiFePO4 batteries between 2 to 24 AH.
The OptiMATE TM-571 is a fully automatic smart charger that determines the battery chemistry during charge and automatically adapts to the lead acid or lithium profile. After the charge is complete, the charger can maintain your batteries 24/7.
During the maintenance cycle lead acid batteries will receive a charge every hour to ensure they are fully charged and ready to go. For lithium batteries, the charger will evaluate the battery and only charge if needed.
The TM-571 has a built-in recovery mode meant to recover dead batteries that have been left unmaintained. For lead acid batteries, the charger sends a pulsing current. For lithium batteries, the charger sends a safe, low current. During recovery, the charger will periodically test the battery, and if the battery is found to be permanently damaged, the unit will safely interrupt the charge cycle.
