The BatteryMINDer OnBoard Desulphators are designed to desulphate your batteries while you are operating your vehicle or when using a proper battery charger. The units utilize patented technology to produce a wide range of high frequency pulses known as RFP ™ (Random Frequency Pulsation) designed to dissolve both old and newly formed sulphate. RFP™ technology, sweeps the entire frequency range known to cause sulphation crystals to resonate and then safely dissolve them. Sulfuric acid, the main component in the sulphate crystals, safely returns to the battery’s electrolyte. The Specific Gravity (S.G.) of the electrolyte is now higher and able to generate more electrical energy-storage capacity than the previously sulphated batteries.
Additional advantages of using sulphation-free batteries include extended alternator and belt life, as the vehicle’s charging system no longer needs to work as hard trying to charge batteries that will not accept high alternator output current due to sulphation build-up. Much lower output current is now demanded from the alternator to keep clean, sulphate-free batteries fully charged.

Extends Battery Reliability
I purchased a BatteryMINDer 12-Volt OnBoard Desulphator and attached it to a truck battery that was becoming "unreliable." That is, unless the vehicle was used regularly, the battery would be too weak to initially start the rig. I'd have to jump start the truck instead.
That was 2 years ago.
With the BatteryMINDer in place, I haven't had to jump start the truck since. And with a push of a button, BatteryMINDer lights up to indicate the battery's charge level.
I've since purchased, installed, and use BatteryMINDers on two other vehicles. Obviously, the BatteryMINDers lengthens a battery's life. But what I appreciate most is that the little unit helps make the batteries more reliable--I can count on the batteries to work when I need them.
Cons:
None.

Desulfator OBD-12
This is just the ticket for someone who has one or more small wet cell powersport batteries to attend to and maintain (over the winter especially). Get a $5 120V timer (that can be set for 1/2 hr intervals - Walmart) and use it to control a regular (no brains) battery charger with the desulfonator in between it and the battery (or batteries in parallel), and just let it operate for 1/2 hr a day for whatever batteries you're not using regularly, and check the water levels once a month, and when you need them again, it will be like pulling a new battery off the shelf.
> I can hook a cheap 1/2 hr interval timer & dinosaur battery charger up to this Desulfator OBD-12 and let it reclaim up to 4 motorcycle batteries at a time over a period of a week;
> Once the batteries hit target voltage, the unit pulses power to reclaim the active chemical surface area on the battery plates w/o just boiling off the water
> Instructions included with unit (and on this site) are very usefull in helping the average person to understand how to assess the health of their batteries, and how to evaluate the progress of reclaiming the power storage capability of their batteries
> BTW, the desulfonator concept really does work - I've seen it on 4 batteries already!
Cons:
Don't really have anything negative to say - I haven't blown it up yet . . .

Pays for itself
If you have an Optima (or any battery these days, as expensive as they have become) you need to use one of these. They keep batteries operating like new much longer, and no weak battery issues in cold anymore.
On a diesel with 2 batteries this unit has kept both of them rock solid for several years now. I have the OBD-12 installed to (+) on passenger side and (-) on driver's side (primary) Optima battery set and both stay within a few millivolts of each other. Never an issue with the batteries in the cold and this set is almost 6 years old now.
Cons:
Had to make an extension to stretch negative lead to other battery but minor inconvenience, all things considered. Only con I have is that I do not have one on EVERY battery in fleet yet.

Desulphators
I am an industrial electrical engineer; have over 30 years' experience with battery systems.
I use the PP12L and the OBD24, as well as the BM2012 Charger. The 12Ls are used on solar farm batteries. The OBD is used on my truck battery. The charger is for rejuvenating/charging other batteries. All work as advertised.
Cons:
The small PP12Ls should have a switch. I swap one of them around on other vehicles. Also, the OBD unit verbage should be changed. It does not work on the solar batteries. Works fine looking at a vehicle alternator, but is advertised as "only works when current is flowing."

This is a tremendous device
I have been using the On Board Desulphator's for a good number of years. I have them on 4 cars. It is the same technology employed in the battery charger made by this company. In my ATV I have an Odyssey battery which I keep on a Battery Minder charger that desulfates while it charges, and this summer will be year 13 on this battery! I believe it is the desulfator that has given me this longevity. I would highly recommend this product.
