Small damp spots are considered normal, and occur during shipping because of atmospheric pressure changes. See article for more info.
This battery fit fine for my 2005 Ducati Monster 620, the price was excellent and shipping was fast and free.
Cons:
There was a damp spot (about a dime size) on the cardboard surrounding the battery. I put thin bubble wrap under it in the bike. I'll check it in a week and see whats going on.

I have been running these batteries in my Top Fuel Harley for 7 years now with out one failure. The vibration is usually what takes out the batteries we run so if your looking for one that can take a beating and keep working, Highly recommended.

Good product, SUPERB service.
My lesson: Don't cheat yourself by buying a cheap battery. Spend the money to buy the best one available and buy it from BatteryStuff.com.
1st time around I choose a cheap battery to save cash. It worked badly, not holding a charge, etc. BatteryStuff coached me through testing the battery and the bike. Battery tested poorly but within specs but BatteryStuff exchanged it at no charge anyway. The 2nd had the same problem and wouldn't work in my bike. I asked them to credit it towards a better (& more expensive) unit but they sent me the MX/Yuasa at no charge. They even paid delivery.
Cons:
Only had it for about 6 weeks but so far it's doing it's job perfectly.
