Recently purchased this battery for my husband(christmas). Not really knowing what to buy, I called customer service. They were fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very helpful, led me right to what I needed. This is second time I called on them, and both times they have been wonderful.

Great battery. It starts the 96 engine without any problems. The batteries I get from the dealer cost more, do not have the high CCA power this battery has and was a perfect fit.

The only issue I have...There is very little room to get the battery all hooked up prior to letting the battery sit in the frame. If only there were some sort of strap so that you could hold the battery up with one hand and make the connections with the other hand.

This battery arrived promptly and I installed it the next day. The fit on my '02 Harley FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide was perfect. I've used it several times in the last couple of months and it shows to start strongly with a lot of cranking amps. I would definitely recommend this battery to my friends.

Absolutely NONE!

This Scorpion battery is plenty powerful to start my bike and it starts quickly. It's about 1/3 less expensive than the OEM battery and shipping was imcluded im the cost of the battery.

The battery posts are slightly taller than the OEM battery so I had to work the cables onto the battery terminals so not to break the cable ends.

If you need a good solid battery with the same dimensions, just get this one. It is strong and reliable.

It fires off my 127c.i. with ease.

Exact size as original. Posts in same location, however I had to drill and tap holes on top as there were none. Holes only facing out on connectors. Even getting drill/tap and die set out and putting them back up, it took less than 10 minutes. Would give it a 5 star rating if I did not have to do this.

I ordered my battery at just after 2 pm before the 4th of July weekend. IT ARRIVED SATURDAY! I could not believe it!

I bought this back on Order Date:22-Sep-2015.

My motivation was price and that fact I couldn't find one bad review online.

Less than a year and a half later, it's no good. The positive battery terminal broke loose internally (it was that bad, you could tell). The result is the cranking amps couldn't be delivered to the starter.

The terminals are poorly constructed. They should not break just because a customer needs/wants to re-tighten them.

Bottom line - the savings were not worth the lack of reliability.

I went back to a battery from the dealership.

Worked fine while it lasted. Price was reasonable.

Poor design/construction of the battery terminals ruined it.

***BatteryStuff.com note: Terminals have been recently updated to a fixed flush mount brass terminal with the adapters being eliminated. The picture for this product is in the process of being updated. This new terminal is an improvement for those that may have over tightened the bolts into the cast adapter. Over tightening can still strip the terminal, so a torque wrench should be used to prevent over tightening. Typically Harley recommends 60-70 in-lbs, however referring to your service manual is recommend.***

I had an Odyssey PC545 in the bike previously, When I purchased that battery the specs stated that it had 540 cranking amps,that was not accurate.It actually has 150 cold cranking amps and 460 pulse hot cranking amps. If your motor is always warm when you start it that would be fine,cold starts on my bike would take 4 to 5 turns to fire which I thought was strange for the cranking amps stated.Now with revised specs that explains it.I have had the odyssey for five years so it will last,still performing the same as the day I installed it, but would rather have the bike fire in one turn, less strain and wear on components.

Fits in compartment for 2007 Softail Custom,I have thicker than standard cables so I mounted on top of battery instead of side mount from factory.Fully charged when it was received. Went on bike run the day I installed it, fired on first turn every time. Will have to see how long it will last.I keep the bike on a tender any time it is not being ridden,electronics suck up the juice.

Just in case you were thinking about an Odyssey battery read other thoughts.

I have 2 HD Softtail custom bikes. Both batteries were about 30 months old. One battery started to seem weak so I replaced it. It came in 3 days as promised. Perfect. Soon the other battery acted the same. Ordered a 2nd battery. When it came it would not hold a charge and would not start my bike. Did several tests as described on Bat. Stuff trouble shooting before I called them. Anyone can have a defective product. They asked me some questions about how the battery acted and determined it had a dead cell. They arranged to send me a new battery that day at no additional cost and did not ask me to return the bad battery. The way they handled this problem made it a non problem. The new battery was perfect and I am a very happy customer. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. A not so great experience turned into a pleasant experience. When I need another battery you will be hearing from me. Thank you for your service and expertise.

Have Stage Four 103" Motor on my bike with milled cmc heads and high compression pistons. Even with automatic compression releases the Harley battery struggled. This battery spins it like the plugs are out. Loving it so far. Hope it lasts. Purchased primarily because of the reviews on here,

Reliability will tell the story over time, as far as the initial purchase, ordering, packaging and shipment = 5 stars. i always keep a trickle charge on my bikes when not in use so if i get a couple years or more use then i will most likely repurchase.

Installation was a little easier because of the batter post design. I installed this battery a little over a month ago and its doing the job. I will say it turns my bike over faster that any other battery that I've used, I like this. So far I would recommend this battery to anyone needing a battery. I gave is a 5 star because so far it is out preforming all other batteries I've used.

The charge right out of the box might have been a little low to start my big engine but a few hours on a trickle charger brought it to full capacity.

Just put in my order for my 4th battery from these folks. For many years I only used HD batteries and would be lucky if they lasted 18 months in the SW Arizona heat.

Of the three Scorpion batteries I've had, all have made it past 2 years and my third made it a month shy of three years! UNHEARD of in the desert heat.

I don't generally leave reviews, but in the case I just have to. After the bike has been sitting for the past year the battery needed charging. Not sure how old it is I decided to let it sit for a couple days to see if it would hold the charge. No such luck.

So, wanting to know how long it had lasted me, I managed to find the invoice for it. The invoice is dated April *2013*. I'll replace it with another Scorpion and don't expect I'll ever need another.

Now if the battery in the StreetGlide needs replacement, that'll be a Scorpion as well!

I have installed this in a honda vtx1300, a fatboy and a victory jackpot. It is an excellent battery and this seller is just amazing. I got this purchase in 2 days, no shipping charge no taxes, a heck of a deal let me tell you!!!

It has lasted well over 5 years in my 2001 Heritage Softail (always kept it on a trickle charger). I just ordered another one and will replace the old one (although it still has juice!) because how much longer can it possibly last? (e.g., I don't want to get stuck!). Definitely worth the price given the longevity.
