Easy fit in my '03 F650GS. Lasted almost three years under fairly heavy use, though it was kept on a battery tender.

When its time to go they give you no warning. These things don't die a slow death. One day they start the bike fine, next day nothing, not even instrument lights.

Needed a new battery for my 2004 BMW F650CS, so I opted for one from the local battery store. It was a cheapo dry unit off the shelf. It worked, but it never had enough reserve, the cells went low after a couple of months, and it cranked slow in the morning. So I had it on the battery tender 2-3 times a week. After 6 months I was sick of it. I order the Scorion AGM battery from BatteryStuff because it is maintainence free, and is rated 165 cca. Very prompt delivery. A couple of months in, and I am satisfied with the upgrade to the Scorpion. My bike cranks better than ever, and it runs like it is getting a better spark. I don't needed the battery tender any more. I just hope it lasts at least 2 years.

This is my second Scorpion battery for this bike in my 4 years of owning it. Both died right around the two year mark. I figured the first one was just a manufacturing defect or an electrical issue with the motorcycle. I installed a voltage monitor on my dash and never saw any problems. After having no problem with the second one I chalked it up to a fluke in manufacturing (it happens). But, the second one quit last month. It won\'t take a charge any longer.

I normally keep my bike on a tender if I am not planning to ride for more than 3-4 days.

So far have not had that long a period.

Initially I had to charge the battery just to make sure. Have been measuring the voltage on the battery before and after my daily commute.

Overnight the battery voltage drops off to between 12.78 to 12.87V (without tender of course). After reaching my workplace about 13miles away, I have measured the voltage bump up to between 13.44 and 13.87V after ignition off.

Good battery so far. But again it is been only about a month since I installed it.

I have this in my 2009 BMW G650GS which is my daily commute horse.

Replaced an OEM BMW EXIDE battery that was not able to maintain its charge after 3 years.

I wanted an AGM battery because getting to the battery compartment on my bike just to check the acid levels was getting to be quite a pain.

Bike fires up immediately.

Giving 5 stars simply because there are no cons. May revise if the battery fails me before 3 years time. :-)

This battery works great right out of the box. It's a perfect fit for my F650gs, with no problems installing. I'm impressed that a no maintenance battery at this price can actually be everything they say it is.

So far I haven't had any complaints.

I had no trouble at all exchanging the battery after a couple of quick checks per the test procedure sent to be by batterystuff. I would purchase from them again.

Small size glass mat battery, not many manufactures make the glass mat construction in this size. Battery looks good on the outside and connection lugs are fine.

This is a warranty battery, first one did not survive the winter even though I kept it on a battery tender JR.

The 3 star rating is because the first battery failed so soon.

These Scorpion AGM motorcycle batteries last 2-3 times longer than conventional liquid acid batteries.

This was identical in shape/size to the battery we had. It fit perfectly and the the bike fired right up on the first try. The seller was great, easy to deal with and very fast shipping. We will buy again! Thank you!

I think the battery is of good quality, however, the size was not equal to the factory battery I had removed. The new battery was 1/8" longer, 3/16' wider and 1/8" higher. This made installation a bit difficult. I can only guess that a one size fits all mentality was used to assign this battery to my motorcycle. I was able to get the battery into the hole, but it was not easy and did not fully fit, like 10 lbs. in an 8 ln. bag. In spite of this , the battery works great which is the most important thing.

I've been ordering Scorpion batteries from BatteryStuff.com for nearly 10 ten years. I have yet to have one not exceed expectations. I don't use battery tenders, and these batteries fire the bike up every time. I've put them in street bikes and dirt bikes. The price is half or less of comparable batteries (shhhh, don't tell batterystuff.com) and they are high quality. These are a no-brainer for me.

This is one of the few AGM batteries that fits my 2007 BMW F650GS. These last quite well even in the hot environment of this bike's battery compartment which boiled the OEM FLA batteries dry in a month, even with constant topping off. Battery Stuff's tech department has been honest and candid when asked about using LiFePo in this bike. Shipping is fast and the prices are good. It's nice to count on them when you need to get back on the road.

These gel batteries are so much easier to work with than the ones you have to add acid to. My last Skorpion lasted 4 years, and I think it only died because I used a faulty chager.

I love Scorpion AGM batteries. They last a lot longer than any other lead-acid battery I have ever used. BUT PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE BATTERY POST POLARITY!!!

I bought the wrong one, and can't use it. I would give the battery 5 stars, but the 3 star rating is because their website doesn't keep track of what I previously ordered, and their product search did not bring up the correct battery. The model number was very similar, but the posts are swapped + and -. Can't use it. No reply to my email. I guess I'll just have to eat this one.
