What the heck can one say about a battery? It does what was claimed! BUT there always has to be a but doesn't there? The battery, it arrived in half the time they said. I was wondering what the package was on my porch until I lifted it. I give this corporation top marks and in future my full confidence.

I needed a new battery for a project BMW R65 and was pointed at batterystuff from ADVRIDER. Finding the right AGM battery was easy and it was shipped promptly. Fit was good and it has more then enough power to bump the motor over even on cold days. Of course everyone should really review their battery two years after they bought it but I can say 'so far so good' with confidence.

You have to modify the terminal covers to make room for accessories like the Battery Tender Cables, but that's no big deal, just need a razor knife.

Fit my '08 R1200RT perfectly and has plenty of amperage to flip its' 12:1 compression engine with authority! I would recommend this to anyone with a Boxer twin!

These gel batteries replace the original BMW battery at about half price. They fit, they deliver fast, with free shipping and none of the "disposal fees" that some states charge. My experience is that they last over three (3) years with normal use. Sure -- more longevity would be nice, but 3 years is pretty normal for a BMW battery in my experience, with all the current BMW demand (lights, heated grips, lots of electronics, etc.) No complaints.

I purchased a YT51913-22 Scorpion AGM battery for my BMW R75/5. I've restored this bike from boxes of junk to a sweet machine. The Scorpion is perfect for my bike. More amperage than stock. Lots of cranking power, and for a price that is unbeatable. Don't spend lots of time shopping. Just buy this battery. You won't be disappointed.

I can't think of any cons that would really apply. Great price, fast delivery, excellent performance. What else it to want?

Very fast, efficient and inexpensive shipping.

Price, price, price. Perfect outside dimensions, matches OEM battery, so drops right into battery tray and battery hold down fits like a glove. Cranks engine very fast, so far holds a charge very well on repeated short trips.

Battery terminals did not work with stock BMW wiring harness. I had to bore out holes large enough to fit stock battery bolts. Was very easy to do, just an extra step. Bolts that came with battery were way to short to fit connectors.

Biggest problem was I had to bend one of the main harness connectors a long ways to get the connector to be able to come close to attaching to the terminal. The terminal was very thin compared to the stock and previous aftermarket terminals and was set back farther. This combination did not allow the wiring harness terminal to come within a 1/4 inch of the battery terminal. So with two sets of channel lock pliers I was able to create a new angle and depth to the connection. My biggest fear was all the bending would crack the cable connector. But since it is pretty hefty, no problems arose.

I've bought several batteries from BatteryStuff and been very happy with all of them. Delivery is prompt and the prices are competitive.

The batteries fit like a glove and work fine. I had tried to get one from Autozone and another local store, but those didn't fit. I was not sure how this would work with the batteries being mailed. My worries were how long will it take and do the batteries arrive in one piece. I ordered on Friday, Monday I got the order confirmation and an estimated delivery date Friday. I was skeptical on Thursday I picked up the batteries from the post office they had arrived on Wednesday.

I haven't owned them long enough to say anything negative. The bike cranks up fine and has plenty of power.

Not as easy as it sounds to go online and find a replacement battery for a motorcycle. Not only are there many choices out there, the simple fact that there will sometimes be very few choices (for certain bikes) makes it much more of a challenge. Case in point: my 1994 BMW R1100RS. The fact that this bike has ABS makes it much harder to find an exact replacement. But, thanks to BatteryStuff.com, they had just what I needed, and at a VERY GOOD price! Add to that the excellent correspondence provided and FAST shipping, I couldn\'t be happier. PS, the bike runs fantastic now!

Ordered my previous battery (same model number) from BatteryStuff about 4 years ago. That battery had lead posts and was basically identical to the stock BMW. This battery was has tab type posts making it more difficult to install. First once sent to me went dead after 2 weeks. BatteryTender would just flash when trying to charge it. BatteryStuff sent a replacement and this one seems to be fine.

Posts are not thick lead type posts like the older version of this model.

Had to drill out the holes in the posts to allow the bolts to go through.

Posts are shorter than previous model making it more difficult to get a wrench on the bolts.

No mods needed at all plus, unlike OEM, terminal covers provided for negative as well as positive posts. I pre-emptively replaced the OEM which was a concern before heading to MOA Rally in St Paul. Absolute perfect fit for my 1971 R60/5 BWM which years back before the internet was available was beginning to be a problem unless you wanted to buy the high priced official BMW battery.

This is my third sealed battery for a my 1971 R60/5 BMW after years of the old lead acid batteries that even with the vent tube would manage to get acid on something, plus had low cranking power and two year life spans typically. A previous sealed gel style battery I replaced only because it was over 5 years old is still sitting around holding a charge, so I'm sold on these batteries as being cost effective. Web searches showed the Scorpion to have good reviews and the best pricing for an AGM battery.

I did have one AGM battery of a different brand that had an abrupt failure a little after two years, (also cost more) while a call to the company resulted in my being sent a new battery at no charge. A web search didn't seem to show this is a common problem as I found no mention of anyone else having this problem.

Great price, especially with free shipping. USPS, ordered Tuesday and got it Friday..best my r1200rt has turned over since I bought it new. Longest a battery has lasted me so far has been two yeasr, I feel lucky! Only gave 4 stars because I just bought it, however if the durability and dependability are as reliable as the first 3 days it will no doubt be a 5 star purchase!

The battery was great for a short while. Used it for 2 months then wintered out of the bike. Used it again for 6 months, wintered on a maintainer, and now it’s dead. So I got a total of 8 months use over an 18 month period. Battery stuff delivered fine, only the product was disappointing.

I bought Scorpion battery for my 09 R1200RT 5 years ago, also from BatteryStuff. I've been very happy, but thought it was time to replace it. The new Sorpion has 22 CCA vs 20 in the old one, so that's a nice bump, still at a very good price. Just installed the new battery last week, and definitely can tell the difference! Great fitment. Also, super Customer Service in replacing the battery damaged in transit from Oregon to Missouri.

Minor complaint: Wish the plastic snap terminal covers were more accommodating of multiple wire attachments.

The Scorpion battery I replaced lasted 7 years and 3 months. Used on a BMW R1100S 2001. Low miles use but in garage battery is on maintenance charger by Battery Minder Plus. It is a desulfatetor charger.

After 5 years on my prior battery from BatteryStuff it gave out. I replaced it with the same model as before. It arrived promptly. I've been buying from BatteryStuff for many years now, only one failed battery during normal service interval. They responded promptly to correct the situation.
