The Solarland SLP003-12U is a 12v 3 Watt Framed Solar Panel (no output cord provided). This Solarland 12v 3-Watt Framed Solar Charger Kit Panel module uses high-quality Multicrystalline solar cells and has a 10-year output warranty. They make excellent battery trickle chargers and small power supplies.
Some of the uses for a 3 watt solar module are charging 12 volt batteries for telemetry, fence chargers, automatic feeders, electric gates or for battery maintenance. This unit comes with no ouput cable and must be wired by the user. A solar controller is recommended to improve charging efficiency and protect batteries.
A Charge Controller is highly recommended to prevent back-drain when the sunlight is not present.
